Anyone coming along?
Here’s the idea with Oliver in it. Type a name and it becomes your child’s.
Oliver is the youngest police officer in town. Today Oliver has a new case: the night before its first public demonstration, a brand-new prototype robot disappears from the gleaming lab of a high-tech company. Someone got round the security system. Wheel marks and an access card show the robot is being driven out of the city, and the police intercept it on the road. The witnesses all saw something different, there is a clue nobody else has noticed, and the culprit is sure no child could ever catch them. Logic and intuition lead Oliver through the whole case, right up to the moment everything fits and, together with the grown-up officers, the culprit is caught.

What the story is about
The night before its first public demonstration a new robot vanishes from the lab — and the case goes to the youngest police officer in town.
The witnesses keep contradicting each other, the guards swear nobody came in that night, and the wheel tracks lead to the service door.
The young officer spots what everyone else missed: one mark on an access card gives away who was inside — and the van with the robot is stopped at the edge of the city.
